Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own streaming servers?
Yes. Telvory Live is control middleware: it works with HLS origin servers you operate or rent, such as Nimble Streamer. It adds scheduling, access control, live switching and analytics on top of them. You remain responsible for the content you stream and for holding the rights to distribute it.
What do my viewers need?
A share link opens in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install and no account to create. Private M3U playlists work in common IPTV apps.
What is the difference between pass-through and encode?
Pass-through relays your stream as it is and costs the least. Encode produces a single continuous output, so switching the program channel is seamless for viewers. You choose per broadcast.
How do viewer caps and stream limits work?
A viewer cap limits how many people can watch a share link at the same time. For M3U playlists, a streams-at-once limit controls how many channels one link can play together.
Where is my data stored?
The platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the UAE, with private storage and edge delivery on Cloudflare. See our privacy policy for details on data, retention and processors.
Can my team sign in with our company accounts?
Yes. Telvory Live supports single sign-on and role-based access, so each person sees only what their role allows.
